Farmhouse Grill in Missouri

"Stopped in last Friday for some lunch. Just happened to be in my Army uniform as I was on my way home and called in a to go order and as I arrived I was talking with Dr. Mike Lutz who then offered to buy my food and as he was going to pay the owner was running the cash register and told us she would pay for the food! Two great people! Two great business's! Also the food from The Sweet Shoppe Cafe was great!"

"This is the most amazing food I have ever had in California Missouri. The food comes to you in about 5-10 minutes. The staff are so sweet, a try there best to make it PERFECT!!"

"I’ve only had a chance to eat here one time so far, but I have to say, the strawberry pecan salad was the best I’ve had anywhere. They were short staffed, which any business owner can vouch, it is so hard to find good help, but the owner was there working and went to the back to I assume help prep the food, they were pretty busy, with just two people working and she was kind and friendly the entire time. I think the bad reviews on here are bogus, like not real. There’s no way. Food is great, customer service was great, and it was a stressful time when I was in there, so to me that’s testimony to being able to perform under pressure with the best of them. I look forward to trying their Buffalo burger and some of the other unique menu items. Keep up the good work. California, MO needs you!!"

"Delicious dinner last night - buffalo burgers were moist and perfectly cooked, creamy coleslaw was refreshing and a generous portion. Now let me tell you about the onion rings - not your typical "rings" but the best I've ever had. I couldn't stop and added some to top the burger. On a previous visit I had the Strawberry Pecan salad and took Shawnna's advice on the dressing. It was perfect!"

"I don't have the words to describe how outstanding the food is . This place is by far a 10/10 it is by far they best food in California mo . I my self had 2 orders of the alligator bites which I highly recommend they are very tender with excellent flavor and I also had a order of the jalapeno poppers they are very cheesy and fried to a perfect crisp and the grilled cheese sandwich is delicious"

"Absolutely delish! Ordered the fried pickles and onion rings. Onion rings were thin, crispy and perfectly flavored. Pickles were lightly breaded with amazing flavor. Homemade ranch came with both items and it's the best ranch I've had in a long time! We will be back to try the other food options soon! Next time I'm ordering the bison burger! They look amazing."
